UUA General Assembly in Boston Service of the Living Tradition Sunday June 29th –10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Fleet Center in Boston We are planning to charter a bus for worship and a day in Boston, at a cost of $10 per person. The bus will leave promptly at 8:30 a.m. from the lower parking lot, and will depart the Sheraton Hotel at 6:45 p.m. Because we are attending worship in Boston there will be no service at First Unitarian on June 29th. After the Service of the Living Tradition, Tom Schade invites you to join him at lunch (your treat) to celebrate his receiving final fellowship. At 5:15 p.m. at the Sheraton the UU Christian Fellowship will celebrate a communion service in which our choir will be singing. Please go to the website www.uua.org/ga/ to get a schedule for that Sunday of General Assembly. If there are events you would like to participate in, you can register for just the day. Space on the bus is limited to the first 35 reservations. Please call the Church Office at (508) 757-2708 if you would like to come with us. [General Assembly registration is not required to attend this service. Please be advised that backpacks, packages, and medium to large sized bags are disallowed from the Fleet Center. Bags will not be checked and attendees with oversized bags or containers will be turned away.] |
